IFES Announces International Recipients of 2017 Democracy Award and Baxter Award

IFES will honor His Excellency Luis Almagro, secretary general of the Organization of American States (OAS), with its 2017 Charles T. Manatt Democracy Award and Tamar Zhvania, chairwoman of the Central Election Commission (CEC) of Georgia, with its 2017 Joe C. Baxter Award. The awards ceremony will take place on October 2, at the Four Seasons in Washington, D.C.
